Do you find RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave engineering fascinating? Are you curious about what happens inside an amplifier, frequency converter, receiver, or other complex RF module when its measured performance does not match expectations? Do you enjoy combining hands‑on laboratory work with careful data analysis and practical problem solving?
MACOM is seeking an entry‑level Product Engineer to support the introduction and manufacture of complex RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave module products at our Nashua, New Hampshire facility.
As a Product Engineer I, you will work with experienced engineers to help transition new products from engineering development into manufacturing. You will gain hands‑on experience with RF measurements, production test systems, test fixtures, data analysis, troubleshooting, yield improvement, and manufacturing documentation. You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Test Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, and Operations while developing a broad understanding of how advanced RF products are designed, tested, built, and successfully released to production.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to build a career around fascinating RF technology while learning how sophisticated electronic products move from prototype hardware to repeatable production.
The strongest candidate will not necessarily arrive with extensive production experience. We are looking for someone who finds RF and microwave engineering genuinely interesting, enjoys learning from measured data, is willing to work carefully through difficult hardware problems, and wants to become the kind of engineer others trust to build solid solutions.
