Job summary

Supermicro is a global leader in server technologies seeking a Product Engineer to drive rack frame and PDU product initiatives. You will handle product management, pre-sale coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Responsibilities include lifecycle management from kickoff to EOL, designing and maintaining an inventory tracking app, and building automation scripts for stock control. A strong background in CS/Engineering and coding is expected.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, or Engineering equivalent.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience with server systems, rack frame and PDU is a plus.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell Script, PHP.
• Understanding of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL).

Supermicro is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in rack frame and PDU products. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for rack frame and PDU products, include product management, and technical pre-sale support and coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with product manager on product lifecycle from product kick-off, product enable to product EOL
• Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop and maintain inventory tracking application
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for inventory tracking and management
• Rack frame and PDU products, include product management, and technical pre-sale support and coordination

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, or Engineering equivalent
• 1+ years of relevant work experience preferred
• Understanding of relational database (MySQL, MSSQL)
• Proficiency in automation programming using Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell Script, PHP
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, project management skills, able to work in a self-directed environment
• Experience in server system, rack frame, and PDU is a plus
• Good communication skills, including both written and verbal

Salary Range

$85,000 - $100,000

The offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
