Job summary

PromptArmor in San Francisco is hiring engineers to build the platform, detections, integrations, and infrastructure for AI risk assessment. You will work across the stack from data models and APIs to user interfaces relied on by security teams, owning features from sketch to production.

Ideal candidates excel in building user facing features, translating user workflows into scalable capabilities, and have experience with React/Next.js and Python.

PromptArmor is an AI security company based in San Francisco. We help the world's most demanding enterprises, Fortune 100 companies, leading healthcare systems, top 100 law firms, and institutional financial firms, assess and monitor the novel risks introduced by AI in their products and across their assets and ecosystem. Our research has uncovered critical vulnerabilities in major platforms like Slack and Writer.com, and we are focused on the net-new AI security problems that traditional tooling wasn't built to solve.

We're hiring engineers across the stack to help us build the platform, detections, integrations, and infrastructure that make this possible. If you're excited about the mission but not sure this is the exact fit, and we'll figure it out together.

About the role

Build the products our customers use to assess and monitor their AI risk. You'll work across the stack, from data models and APIs to the interfaces security teams rely on, and own features end to end from first sketch to production.

Requirements

Excellence in:

• Building new user facing products and features
• Understanding user workflows and pain points, and turning those insights into scaleable features that solve their problems and create value
• Building intuitive user interfaces and product experiences
• Schema design and data modeling with relational databases
• Python (or a similar language)

Proficiency in:

• React, Next.js (or a similar frontend framework)

You're likely a good fit if

• Have great communication skills and product intuition
• You like owning products end-to-end
• Learning new technical skills and mastering them excite you.
• You've gone 0 to 1 with a product as a founder, engineer, or for a side project
• You have interest across the stack
