Job summary

Qualifications

We are looking for an ambitious, design-obsessed Product Engineer to architect the next generation of complex hydraulic, fuel, and electro-mechanical fluid control systems.

What You'll Build & Drive

• End-to-End Product Design: Concept, model, and analyze high-precision valves, actuators, and fluid components using 3D CAD and FEA tools.
• Rapid Prototyping & Testing: Design test setups, run hardware through extreme thermal/pressure stress, resolve design anomalies, and validate mission-critical performance.
• Technical Ownership: Lead internal and customer-facing design reviews, present engineering proposals to major aerospace OEMs, and sign off on drawing releases and design updates.
• Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate directly with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to take your designs from your workstation to the shop floor and onto the aircraft.

What You Bring

• Education & Experience: BSME or BSAE with 3-10 years of hands-on engineering experience in a fast-paced hardware environment.
• CAD & Simulation Arsenal: High proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and FEA/simulation tools (ANSYS preferred).
• Fluid Power Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical principles, fluid dynamics, or servo valve technology.
• Problem-Solving Drive: High energy, attention to mechanical detail, and strong technical communication skills to present design choices to customers and leadership.
• ITAR Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) due to defense contract regulations.

Bonus Points

• Experience with PLM/PDM systems (SmarTeam or similar).
• Direct experience with servo valves, electro-hydraulic controls, or high-reliability fluid systems.
