We’re working with a fast-growing Series B AI company building the next generation of intelligent software for go-to-market teams.

Their AI platform turns customer interactions into structured data, insights and intelligent action, helping companies move faster, automate manual work and make better decisions.

They’re now looking for an exceptional AI Product Engineer to join the team in NYC.

This is NOT a traditional software engineering role.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong engineering fundamentals with a genuine product mindset - someone who can take an ambiguous problem, understand what the customer actually needs, and build and ship the solution end-to-end.

The Role

You’ll own projects from initial problem definition through production, working across the stack and collaborating closely with Product, Design, Engineering and Forward Deployed Engineers.

You’ll:

• Build AI-native features, agents and intelligent workflows
• Own features end-to-end - from architecture and implementation through testing, monitoring and production
• Work with LLMs, agentic systems, RAG, evaluation frameworks and vector databases
• Solve challenging distributed systems, infrastructure and scaling problems
• Turn raw customer feedback into thoughtful product solutions
• Move quickly using AI-assisted engineering workflows without sacrificing production quality
• Influence technical and platform direction through your own ideas
• Work closely with FDEs on customer-critical initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, with ~4 years being the sweet spot
• Strong software engineering and system design fundamentals
• Experience building and shipping products end-to-end
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLMs, ideally including agentic systems, RAG, LLM evaluations or vector databases
• Experience with distributed systems, infrastructure/scaling or concurrent/async processing
• Strong approach to testing, monitoring and reliability
• Genuine fluency with AI-assisted development and a sophisticated AI-native engineering workflow
• Strong product instincts and customer empathy
• High autonomy - able to take ambiguous problems and turn them into shipped solutions
• A scrappy, startup-oriented mindset with strong ownership

• Built sophisticated AI/agent workflows
• Worked hands-on with LLM evaluations and RAG
• Worked at an early-stage/high-growth startup
• Founded or built a company themselves
• Developed a highly effective AI-assisted engineering workflow
