Point One Navigation, Inc. is hiring Product Engineers to transform how law firms track billable time. You’ll own AI-driven product surfaces, turning half-explained processes into working systems used by attorneys and partners.

The role spans engineering, product and client collaboration, shaping an evolving platform for firms. You’ll collaborate with attorneys and billing teams, translate needs into concrete workflows, and ship with impact.

PointOne is reinventing how law firms operate. Our AI platform helps attorneys capture billable time automatically, apply billing rules correctly, and get insights that change how legal work is managed. We're a Series A venture-backed startup (Y Combinator, Bessemer, 8VC, General Catalyst) made up of software engineers (Jane Street, Google, Stanford, Princeton) and former attorneys. More than 225 law firms use PointOne today, and demand is growing faster than we can build for it.

The Role

Product Engineers at PointOne build the AI systems attorneys trust with their billable hours. You'll take work that currently lives in someone's head, or in a spreadsheet, and turn it into software that just handles it.

The job spans engineering, product, and the firms themselves. You'll be the technical owner for a set of key firms, spending real time with the people who use PointOne every day. You'll form your own view of what would make their work meaningfully better, and then build it. What you learn from them becomes the platform every other firm uses.

You'll write production code and own the outcome, not the ticket.

We're looking for technically strong engineers who are as comfortable building AI products as they are in a room full of law firm partners: people who can take a half-explained process and come back with a working system.

What You'll Do

• Build new AI products: entirely new workflows for a profession that has used the same ones for forty years.

• Work where the problem isn't defined yet. Figure out what's actually being asked for, align with colleagues across functions on a plan, and ship against it.

• Lead by example through mentoring future hires, pairing, and code reviews. You'll help shape our engineering culture.

The compensation for this position is determined by multiple factors, including prior experience and expertise. A competitive equity component will also be offered as part of the package.
