Job summary

John Deere is seeking a Product Engineer for Augusta Commercial Products in Augusta, GA. You will design and integrate components for the Compact Utility Tractor line, applying PDP or CI processes to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities include improving cost, quality, and performance, supporting manufacturing, and investigating field issues to determine root causes and solutions. VISA sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing and integrating vehicle components.
• Creo 3D modeling and PDM process knowledge.
• Experience with Compact Utility Tractors and farm/construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate vehicle components to the tractor product line.
• Improve cost, quality, and overall product performance.
• Provide engineering support for the factory and field issues; perform root-cause analysis.

Your Responsibilities

As a Product Engineer for Augusta Commercial Products located in Augusta, GA, you will be responsible for vehicle design, utilizing the Product delivery Process (PDP) or Continuous Improvement (CI) on the Compact Utility Tractor product line. In addition, you will:

• Be responsible for the design and/or integration of vehicle components
• Improve cost, quality, and product performance
• Provide engineering support for the factory
• Perform investigation, determine root cause, and recommend solutions for field issues

• Strong communication skills and experience working cross functionally
