Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to drive concepts through production.

You will work with Account Managers, customers, Design Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality and Sales to deliver solutions, reduce time to market, and support growth. You will design, develop and release products for On-Highway, Off-Highway and Distribution markets, create CAD models and BOMs, coordinate launches, and resolve technical issues with customers.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2–5 years of related experience, preferably in commercial equipment or vehicle applications.
• Experience with CAD and engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, quote, and release products for On-Highway, Off-Highway, and Distribution markets.
• Create CAD models, drawings, BOMs, part numbers, and customer quotations.
• Coordinate product launches, prototype builds, customer trials, and production releases.
• Work directly with customers to identify opportunities and resolve technical issues.
• Support engineering changes, product improvements, testing, and failure analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation including FMEA/FMECA, DVP&R, DRBFM, load/stress analysis, and qualification reports.
• Lead or participate in customer and cross-functional project meetings and design reviews.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and other departments.
• Follow all company 6S and Safety Guidelines.

Work Requirements

• Approximately 70% sitting/computer work.


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform occasional bending/stooping.


• 25% travel by car and air.


• Climate-controlled work environment.
