Position Summary

Ware Wholesale is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to our customers while also assisting with warehouse operations as needed.

Our delivery drivers are an important part of the customer experience and represent Ware Wholesale while making deliveries. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, attentive to detail, and committed to providing professional and friendly service to our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a company delivery vehicle on assigned delivery routes.
  • Deliver customer orders accurately, safely, and in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle.
  • Verify orders and ensure products are properly loaded and secured to prevent shortages, breakage, or damage.
  • Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with customers.
  • Maintain assigned route expectations and communicate delays, delivery issues, customer concerns, or other problems to warehouse staff or management.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation related to deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding vehicle condition, mileage, and other required information.
  • Conduct required vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance, mechanical, or safety concerns.
  • Keep the interior and exterior of the company vehicle clean and organized.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, picking, packing, organizing inventory, and other warehouse duties as needed.
  • Follow company safety procedures, applicable transportation requirements, and Ware Wholesale policies and procedures.
  • Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required. A valid driver's license is required because operating a company vehicle and making customer deliveries are essential functions of this position.
  • No CDL is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous delivery, route driving, warehouse, or related experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and accountable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to perform basic math and accurately complete delivery documentation.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow established safety procedures and work practices.
Physical Requirements

This position requires regular physical activity associated with warehouse and delivery work, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, loading, and unloading merchandise.

The employee must be able to routinely lift and carry 40–60 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.

The employee must also be able to safely enter and exit the delivery vehicle throughout the workday and perform delivery and warehouse duties in varying working and weather conditions.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position averaging 36-40 hours per week. Most workdays are approximately eight hours; however, the length of the workday may vary depending on delivery routes, customer needs, workload, traffic, weather, and other operational needs. Some workdays may be longer or shorter than eight hours.

Employees must be able to work the schedule necessary to complete assigned delivery routes and warehouse responsibilities.
