Job Overview

This Business Development Product Director is responsible for developing and executing initiatives on Prime's product roadmap across the Commercial, Government Programs, or State Public Sector strategic business units. The role involves understanding market problems faced by Prime's clients, leading the development and management of complex products, and demonstrating their value to the market. Collaborating with leaders and product owners across departments to develop standards and move from ideation to execution is key.

Responsibilities
  • Shape the review process for commercial products targeted at the state public sector and Medicaid FFS business.
  • Coordinate with the Product Review Committee to gather feedback and refine products, including pricing revisions for Medicaid FFS.
  • Manage the pipeline of products for sale, working with the account team to drive sales.
  • Maintain communication with the implementation team regarding product goals and timelines to ensure alignment.
  • Collaborate with product owners for market analysis and sales strategies.
  • Present products to potential clients and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with sales, innovation, and marketing teams to promote products.
  • Oversee multiple complex product initiatives from conception to launch.
  • Lead new product ideation and development, including feasibility and financial assessments.
  • Conduct market assessments and develop pricing strategies.
  • Create and deliver product launch and training materials for clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing on product collateral.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience. HS diploma or GED required.
  • At least 8 years of related business experience, with 5+ years in product development.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

  • Salary range: $108,000 - $184,000, based on experience.
