Job Description

This Business Development Product Director is accountable for developing and executing initiatives on Prime's product roadmap across the Commercial, Government Programs, or State Public Sector strategic business units. This position will be responsible for understanding market problems facing Prime's clients, leading the development and management of complex products, and demonstrating their value to the market. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with leaders and product owners across departments to develop product standards and moving from ideation to execution.

Responsibilities

• Drive review processes for commercial products tailored to state public sector and Medicaid FFS business.
• Coordinate with the Product Review Committee to gather feedback and refine products, including pricing revisions for Medicaid FFS.
• Manage the pipeline of products for sale and collaborate with the account team to drive sales.
• Communicate regularly with the implementation team regarding product goals and timelines to ensure alignment.
• Work with product owners to incorporate market analysis and support sales efforts.
• Present products to potential customers or clients and represent the portfolio externally.
• Partner with sales, innovation, and marketing teams to promote products.
• Oversee multiple complex product initiatives from conception through launch.
• Collaborate on new product ideas with various functional and strategic leaders.
• Lead concept development, feasibility assessments, and financial analysis.
• Conduct market assessments as needed.
• Develop and drive pricing strategies through relevant committees.
• Create client and employer value propositions and launch plans with marketing support.
• Present product initiatives to senior management and facilitate project stage gate approvals.
• Develop training materials and present initiatives or pilots to clients.
• Work with marketing to develop compelling product collateral.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; equivalent experience also acceptable.
• At least 8 years of related business experience, including 5 in product development.
• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
