Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a Senior Product Development Systems Engineer – Battery Systems in the United States. You will own the end-to-end development of advanced battery systems, from architecture and requirements through prototype build, integration, testing, and validation.

Job description

This is a Senior Product Development Systems Engineer – Battery Systems role.

The person will own the end-to-end engineering of advanced battery systems, from architecture and requirements through prototype build, integration, testing, and validation.

Main focus:

• Design and define battery system architecture and electrical interfaces.
• Manage system requirements, specifications, and V-Model development.
• Work with BMS, power electronics, controls, wiring, and embedded systems.
• Review/contribute to schematics, electrical designs, protection concepts, and prototypes.
• Lead system integration, verification, validation, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Perform functional safety, hazard analysis, and risk assessment.
• Coordinate across electrical, mechanical, software, controls, and other engineering teams.
• Ideally bring experience in battery/energy storage, aerospace, defense, or mission-critical systems.
• Requires 7+ years of complex product development with hands-on electrical/systems engineering.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
