Job summary

USA SOLVENTUM US LLC in Eagan MN or San Antonio TX is seeking a Product Development Specialist to lead design and commercialization of new products for healthcare. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to move concepts from ideation to launch, with a focus on regulated medical devices.

You will work on determining wound healing user needs and advancing technologies, protect IP through patents, and participate in dissemination through publications and conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 7 years of experience in product development in a regulated environment.
• OR High School Diploma/GED and 11 years of experience in product development in a regulated design environment.
• Medical device design and development experience; experience prototyping using medical related materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design effort by working with cross functional teams to progress projects through a new product development and commercialization process to take concepts through to launch.
• Help determine wound healing related user needs and leverage expertise to develop and advance technologies that can solve for our customers.
• Contribute to the project schedule for design and technical aspects of the project and provide input as a member of the technical team.
• Protect Solventum intellectual property through the filing of new patent applications, publish in top-tier journals, and present at appropriate conferences.
