Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Product Development Specialist to lead the technical design process and advance new wound-care products from concept to launch. You will collaborate with R&D, engineering, and regulatory teams to translate customer needs into robust medical devices.

The role requires strong domain expertise in medical device design, prototype development, and a working knowledge of FDA/ICH/ISO standards, with travel to MN or TX locations and some remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field with 7+ years in product development in a regulated environment.
• Master’s degree or higher in a materials/science discipline is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design with cross-functional teams through new product development and commercialization to launch concepts.
• Determine wound healing-related user needs and develop technologies to meet them.
• Contribute to project schedules and provide input as a member of the technical team.
• Protect Solventum intellectual property through patent filings and publications.
