Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Specialist Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the safety and reliability of Restorative Healing Technologies. You will lead quality activities across design verification, risk management, and post-market surveillance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive robust processes.

Hybrid role with on-site work at designated locations in the US, offering relocation assistance and opportunities for mentorship and growth within the Quality organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or science and 7 years of design or quality engineering experience in a regulated industry.
• Experience leading risk management per ISO 14971 and design verification/validation for medical devices.
• Experience with post-market surveillance, CAPAs, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities for new product development and sustaining activities.
• Develop quality plans using historical data such as complaints, CAPAs, service records, and repair data.
• Review production release documentation, specifications, labeling, process validations, and change management records.
• Lead post-market surveillance and lifecycle quality activities for assigned products.
• Mentor lower-level engineers and support audit readiness for internal and regulatory inspections.
