Job summary

Alamar Biosciences is seeking an Associate Scientist I to join its Product Development team in Fremont, CA. The role focuses on verification and validation studies, QC method development, and data-driven troubleshooting in a lab setting.

You will contribute to NPI and ongoing product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data and smooth transfer to manufacturing, while adhering to quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or related field with 1+ years of relevant industry experience, or M.S. in a related field.
• Hands-on experience executing laboratory experiments in a biotech or life sciences setting.
• Experience with basic assay techniques such as immunoassays or molecular biology methods.

Responsibilities

• Execute V&V studies (precision, sensitivity, linearity, stability) following established protocols.
• Support development, optimization, and validation of QC methods across raw material, in-process, and finished goods testing.
• Troubleshoot challenges via root-cause analysis and implement corrective strategies.
• Generate, document, and analyze data with sound statistical practices for accuracy and reproducibility.
• Maintain detailed lab records in compliance with quality systems.
