Job summary

MIRATECH in Tulsa, OK is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to coordinate and manage MIRATECH product development projects. You will attend checkpoints, lead meetings, and ensure plans align with the product lifecycle strategy.

The role requires 3–10 years of PM experience, a BS in engineering, strong communication, MS Office skills, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules while traveling up to 20%.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or a relevant major from an accredited college/university.
• 3–10 years of project management experience or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Windows and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
• Proficient at creating/maintaining Gantt Chart-style project schedules.
• Detail oriented while able to see the big picture and customer relationships.
• Customer focused.
• Able to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Attend checkpoints, gates, and all relevant weekly meetings for product development projects.
• Schedule and lead product development project meetings and produce meeting minutes/action items.
• Ensure alignment of project plans with the overarching product lifecycle strategy.
• Proactively communicate regarding scope, schedule, commercial, and technical details.
• Become familiar with MIRATECH product line and processes.
• Provide regular reports on project status to the appropriate parties.
• Manage scope changes which affect schedule, cost, revenue, etc.
• Work with Product Development, Sales, Engineering, and Production on project budgets and tracking costs.
• Identify potential issues early and collaborate to resolve before escalations.
• Review technical deliverables before release.
• Manage flow of documents for consistency and timeliness.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors with MIRATECH production team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Reports to: Manager, Product Management

Cooperates with: Product Development, Engineering, Accounting, Production, Sales

Primary Responsibility: Responsible for coordinating and managing MIRATECH product development projects.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend checkpoints, gates, and all relevant weekly meetings for product development projects.
• Schedule and lead product development project meetings as needed and produce meeting minutes/action items as appropriate.
• Ensure the alignment of project plans with overarching product lifecycle strategy.
• Proactively communicate regarding all aspects of project, including scope, schedule, commercial, and technical details.
• Become familiar/conversant with the entire MIRATECH product line and processes.
• Provide regular reports on project status to the appropriate parties.
• Manage scope changes which affect schedule, cost, revenue, etc.
• Work with Product Development, Sales, Engineering, and Production on preparation of project budget and track actual vs. budget costs (with assistance from accounting) through the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential issues at the beginning and throughout of the project lifecycle and work with the appropriate parties (Engineering, Production, Sales, etc.) to resolve before escalations.
• Review technical deliverables from product development projects before release.
• Manage the flow of documents to ensure consistency and timeliness.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors as needed with MIRATECH production team.
• Other duties as assigned.
