Job summary

Ralph Lauren is seeking a Product Development & Production Assistant in New York to support the product lifecycle from concept through production readiness. You will work closely with Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Raw Materials, Production, Sourcing Offices, Mills and Factories to ensure data accuracy, timely approvals, and on-time delivery of milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Fashion Merchandising, Product Development, Business, or Supply Chain.
• Internship or prior experience in product development, production, merchandising, sourcing, or related apparel functions preferred.
• Excellent organizational, data entry, reporting and documentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with PLM, Airtable, SAP, GFE, o9 or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical packages, and product development docs in PLM and related systems.
• Track development milestones, prototypes, submissions, and approvals for on-time calendars.
• Maintain development records, trim docs, sustainability requirements, and product information throughout lifecycle.
• Attend fittings as needed, document feedback, and coordinate follow-up actions with cross-functional partners.
• Support production readiness: SRS, OTB, POs, T&A, cost tracking, and vendor communications.
