Job summary

AGMI Insurance seeks a Product Development Operations Specialist to support brokerage onboarding, ongoing account maintenance, and product/regulatory support activities. You will coordinate application intake, gather required documentation, support internal approvals and compliance review, maintain account records, and assist with product development and system-project activities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in administrative support roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clear updates and timely follow-up.
• Methodical and thorough with high accuracy in all tasks.
• Adept at spotting errors and escalating discrepancies appropriately.
• Self-motivated and able to follow established processes while seeking guidance when needed.
• Ability to manage overlapping requests and multiple projects without compromising quality.
• Collaborative team player with an interest in building a career in the insurance sector.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding of new brokerage accounts from inquiry through contract issuance or declination.
• Forward applications to brokerages meeting the Company’s appetite.
• Conduct initial intake and review of brokerage applications, ensuring documents are complete and current forms used.
• Coordinate with applicant contacts to obtain missing documents or clarification.
• Coordinate with internal units for approval to move to compliance review.
• Prepare and coordinate declinations or agreements based on approvals.
• Maintain ongoing brokerage accounts, including evidence of professional liability insurance.
• Coordinate address and contact updates and requests to add system users.
• Coordinate state additions and review licensing/regulatory actions for approval.
• Process terminations of brokerage accounts.
• Monitor shared email and route inquiries to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain filing, product-development, and system-project trackers.
• Assemble routine filing documents, forms, exhibits, and supporting materials.
• Organize regulatory correspondence, approvals, filing records, and product documentation.
• Assist with document formatting, proofreading, version control, and retention.
• Support user-acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios and documenting results.
• Maintain forms inventories, product reference materials, implementation records, and procedures.
• Escalate regulatory, compliance, product, or system issues requiring interpretation or approval.
• Perform additional project work and other duties as assigned.
