Job summary

Crane Currency is seeking a Winter/Spring internship in Nashua, New Hampshire for a college student to gain hands-on experience in our Research & Development department. This onsite role is based in Nashua and starts January or February 2027, continuing through the Summer, offering a paid opportunity.

As an intern you will support research and development projects, participate in trials with data analysis, and contribute to monthly lab and material audits.

Qualifications

• You must currently be enrolled in a four-year degree program, or MS program with an accredited school in Chemical Engineering with a strong interest in Organic Chemistry or Material Science preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Products.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions.
• Be able to work around chemicals and equipment following safety protocals.
• Academic or work experience in a chemical or lab environment.
• Candidate has completed at least one full year of college or university studies; higher preference to rising Juniors or Seniors.
• Experience working in manufacturing is beneficial.
