Job summary

PRM FASHION SEARCH is seeking a Product Development Manager with research and development experience to lead fabric development, coordinate lab dips, and manage line sheets in a fast-paced contemporary brand.

You will organize fabrics, compile FDS information from suppliers, work daily with designers, and maintain development linesheets while maintaining close communication with mills, vendors, and factories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in textile or fashion design is required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an advanced contemporary designer fashion brand is required.
• Strong knowledge of textiles and materials is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize fabrics - file lab dips, sample yardage, lining and novelty fabric development
• Own compiling all FDS info from suppliers and relaying to factories in a timely manner
• Daily meetings with designers
• Ordering sample yardage and tracking
• Responsible for sample, headers and L/D submit tracking
• Create fabric charts and assist all fabric development from L/D, H/L and S/Y
• Daily communication with mills, vendors, and factories
• Assisting fabric appointments and following up headers
• Maintain development linesheet
