Job summary

Lumijes Technologies in Florida is seeking a hands-on Product Development Manager to lead a small, high‑impact engineering team at the intersection of medical devices, AI, and robotics.

You will translate complex engineering needs into clear requirements, drive FDA submission readiness, and coordinate hardware and software efforts with contractors.

The role emphasizes strong communication, rigorous requirements management, and readiness for regulated environments in a fast‑paced startup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical product management or systems engineering roles.
• Experience writing detailed requirements for hardware-software systems (ideally medical devices or robotics).
• Strong technical background—able to understand robotics, computer vision, optical systems, and embedded platforms.
• Proficiency with requirements management tools (Visure, Jama, DOORS).
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills in small teams.
• Experience in regulated environments (medical devices strongly preferred).

• Facilitate cross‑team communication and alignment between mechanical, software, and external contractors.
