Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Manager within the Advanced Solutions Group to drive innovation and mature the ASG offering portfolio by piloting and deploying new solutions across the organization.

You will work with internal teams and partners to test prototypes, build business cases, and support GTM initiatives, with a focus on safety, productivity, and sustainability, while traveling up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced technical or business training a plus.
• 5+ years in product development, project management, or R&D.
• Experience introducing and managing complex technical solutions in customer environments.
• Ability to develop strategic proposals and implement rollout plans.
• Familiarity with construction technologies including IoT, AI, and sensors.

The PDM collaborates with internal teams and external partners to identify promising technologies, develop business cases, test prototypes, and support the company and Digital Customer Success team in go-to-market (GTM) initiatives.
