Job summary

Centric Brands, based in Los Angeles, seeks a Product Development Associate Manager to drive seasonal collections from concept to market with close collaboration among Design, Production, Sourcing, and factories. You will manage timelines, cost analyses, and delivery quality to meet commercial goals.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of apparel product development experience across denim, woven, knit, and sweater categories.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric development, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret and work from technical packages and development specifications.
• Highly organized with strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Experience with PLM systems and MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative team player in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact with factories and vendor partners throughout the development lifecycle.
• Track development progress from prototypes through sales samples with updates.
• Support costing analysis during each stage of development.
• Maintain and update development and costing tools for cross-functional visibility.
• Collaborate with Design, Production, and Sourcing to identify cost-saving opportunities while preserving design intent.
• Monitor milestones and address risks to development timelines.
• Facilitate smooth handoffs between development, pre-production, and production teams.
• Ensure development records and documentation are detailed and organized.
• Assist with sourcing fabrics, trims, and other materials.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to review status and plan next steps.
