Job summary

Ignite Human Capital LLC is supporting an established contract manufacturer in Ontario, CA, for a Product Development Coordinator who will drive new and revised products from inquiry to commercialization. You will coordinate with Sales, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Production to keep projects on time and within cost targets.

The role emphasizes fast-paced manufacturing, multi-project management, and collaboration with customers to bring wet wipe and filled products to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Packaging Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project management, product development, or project coordination within cosmetics, personal care, household, or CPG industries.
• Experience in a contract manufacturing (OEM) environment is strongly preferred; manufacturing or production floor experience is a plus.
• Working understanding of packaging development, pouching and flow wrapping, formulation basics, manufacturing processes, and QA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full product development process from initial customer inquiry through production launch.
• Prepare BOMs, cost analyses, claims testing, prototype submissions, and customer approvals.
• Prioritize work across multiple projects, track timelines, and communicate risks or delays.
• Manage the transition from development to production, finalize specs, BOMs, artwork, and component orders.
• Maintain project documentation and stage-gate milestones.
