Summary: Tumblerware is building premium, design-forward products, and we’re looking for a Product Development Lead to bring those products to life. This role owns the end-to-end execution of new and improved products, taking a defined product vision and turning it into real, manufacturable, scalable products. You’ll lead the work from concept handoff through sampling, refinement, supplier coordination, and readiness for production, ensuring every product meets our standards for quality, margin, and customer experience. You’ll work closely with the CEO (product vision and positioning) and the Operations Director (scale and mass production), sitting at the center of product execution and playing a critical role in how Tumblerware’s products reach customers. If you thrive at the intersection of design intent, manufacturing reality, and premium execution—and enjoy turning ideas into physical products that perform—this role offers real ownership and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Translate product vision and positioning into clear development plans, specs, timelines, and milestones
  • Lead development of new products and meaningful improvements to existing products
  • Own the full sampling and iteration process, driving structured feedback loops and clear decisions
  • Manage supplier relationships, communication, timelines, and performance expectations
  • Create and maintain product specs, BOMs, and technical documentation
  • Establish cost and margin guardrails while protecting the premium product experience
  • Partner with operations to ensure products are fully ready for scale and mass production
  • Define and uphold product quality standards, QC requirements, and inspection processes
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to support launch readiness and accurate product storytelling
  • Identify and resolve risks early—before they impact quality, timelines, or scalability
Qualifications
  • 3–8 years of experience in product development, sourcing, manufacturing, or consumer product execution
  • Proven experience taking consumer products from concept through production
  • Strong understanding of sampling, QC, packaging, materials, and manufacturing constraints
  • Excellent supplier communication and execution management skills
  • Ability to translate high-level product intent into clear, manufacturable outcomes
  • Strong judgment and prioritization—focused on what materially improves the product
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving, iterative environments with high standards
  • Bonus: experience elevating commodity products into premium branded offerings
Key Success Attributes
  • Ownership and Impact
  • Curiosity-Driven Culture
  • Fast-Paced Environment
