Job summary

Henkel in Massachusetts is offering a Product Development & Optimization internship with the Technomelt brand in our Adhesive Technologies unit. You’ll gain hands-on experience formulating products in a lab, participate in lab-scale batch making and test performance and quality, and learn the full product formulation life cycle from lab development to production and market launch.

You’ll work with SAP systems, analyze data, and contribute insights to strategic decisions.

Qualifications

Undergraduate student graduating in 2027/2028/2029 pursuing Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to interpret technical and performance data and recommend actionable next steps.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and brainstorming skills to support innovation.

Responsibilities

Gain hands-on experience creating product formulations in a lab environment.
Participate in lab-scale batch making processes for packaging, labeling, and hygiene adhesive applications.
Conduct specific application testing to evaluate product performance and quality.
Learn the full product formulation life cycle - from lab development to production and market launch.
Develop an understanding of SAP systems and learn how to interpret and analyze formulation and production data.
Contribute insights that support strategic decision-making based on technical and market knowledge.
