Job summary

Select Custom Solutions (SCS) in La Crosse, WI, seeks a Product Development Intern to support the Innovation team with product development, sample preparation, and day-to-day operations of the sample program.

This role provides hands-on experience in ingredient handling, formulation support, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration with Innovation, Sales, and CX to ensure timely and accurate sample delivery while learning about GMP and food safety protocols.

Qualifications

• One year of Bachelor’s degree with technical/scientific coursework completed.
• Minimum one year of experience in a professional lab environment.
• Student/internship focus in product development and food science is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry accurately in Word, Excel, UPS software, Salesforce, and related systems.
• Weigh ingredients and read batch formulations for sample requests.
• Inventory management and sample fulfillment for innovation projects.
• Prepare samples with appropriate shipping materials and paperwork.
• Collaborate with Innovation, Sales, and CX to ensure timely sample delivery.
