Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to translate ideas into working models and drawings.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes, materials, programming software, business systems, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Originate and develop designs for products per project specs.
• Create mechanical models and drawings of product line.
• Create mechanical BOMs for product designs.
• Evaluate feasibility, design optimization, and production issues.
• Manage costs, margins, and target release dates.
• Implement lean manufacturing concepts to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
