The role focuses on hands-on development of new flexible packaging products, transitioning from concept to manufacturing trials and commercialization.

The position emphasizes collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other technical teams across locations, with potential expansion of an R&D lab

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in product development, R&D, or process engineering.
• Hands-on experience with adhesive lamination or extrusion lamination.
• Experience taking products from concept to manufacturing trials.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD projects from concept through testing and commercialization.
• Develop multilayer packaging structures with films, foil, adhesives, coatings.
• Conduct trials and troubleshoot material, equipment, and process issues.
• Work with manufacturing to establish process parameters and scale to production.
• Evaluate new materials, technologies, and processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other teams across locations.
• Support expansion of product development and R&D capabilities.
