Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, seeks a Product Development Engineer (Construction) to design and develop guardrail and related components. The role requires collaboration across marketing, sales, and manufacturing, and involves producing production-ready designs and BOMs.

The on-site position can be based at Bulls Gap, TN or Brooksville, FL, with responsibilities spanning CAD modeling, testing, and vendor coordination to ensure robust product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years of product development or design experience.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience with vinyl, composite, aluminum and steel components preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop guardrail, fencing, and decking components with stress analysis.
• Create BOMs, engineering drawings, and product specifications.
• Support manufacturing with BOMs, drawings, and product changes.
• Develop test plans and coordinate in-house R&D testing.
• Provide technical guidance to vendors and third-party engineers as needed.
• Create 3D renderings for marketing and product illustrations.
• Maintain product design schedules and critical path items.
• Collaborate with QA to address warranty claims and root causes.
