Job summary

Proven Process Group in Wisconsin is seeking a mechanical engineer to transform concepts into fully realized products on the production floor. You will own the process from initial concept through prototyping to final production, delivering robust designs that meet customer needs.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, collaboration with customers and leadership, and a clear growth plan with regular feedback. On-site in Fond du Lac with a real growth trajectory and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with at least 3 years of new product development in manufacturing.
• Experience designing formed metal parts and building flat patterns.
• Strong 3D CAD skills with SolidWorks or Creo.
• Projects owned from concept to production and shipped to customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with customers to define needs and translate them into designs.
• Prototype, test, and iterate on hardware, not just drawings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues between engineering and the shop floor.
• Present ideas and recommendations to leadership and drive implementation.
