Job summary

Torrid in City of Industry, CA is seeking an on-site Production/PD support role for a 2-month assignment, starting ASAP. Work involves coordinating with the Product Development and Technical Design teams to realize the merchant's vision, while assisting the Production Manager with daily tasks and meticulous note-taking.

Responsibilities include updating weekly WIP reports, tracking samples and approvals, handling PO processes, and coordinating with offshore vendors to move product development

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a related role.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills, initiative and follow-up.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with PD/Tech teams to align with merchant’s vision.
• Assist Production Manager with day-to-day tasks and keep detailed notes.
• Update weekly WIP reports for multiple seasons.
• Track samples and approvals according to calendar dates.
• Follow the purchase order process for timeliness and accuracy.
• Support department with administrative tasks.
• Communicate with off-shore vendors/factories to progress product development events.
