Job summary

Astor Chocolate in Lakewood, NJ seeks a Project Manager in Product Development & Commercialization to lead cross-functional projects from concept to launch. You will coordinate with Sales, Design, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and customers to ensure timely delivery and compliant packaging, new item setups, and accurate documentation.

The role requires a degree in a related field and 3–7 years of PM/launch experience in manufacturing, preferably in confectionery or CPG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3–7 years of project management or commercialization experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in food, confectionery, or CPG industries preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects from concept through launch.
• Experience working with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage new and existing product projects from concept through production launch.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication across internal teams and external partners.
• Track project progress, identify challenges, and drive resolution.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Support customer meetings, commercialization reviews, and internal project discussions.
• Manage artwork projects, approvals, revisions, and production readiness.
• Coordinate with Design teams, customers, printers, and suppliers on artwork and packaging requirements.
• Review packaging specifications to ensure compliance with customer and manufacturing requirements.
