Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc is offering a Product Development Assembly/Tuning Co-Op for Summer/Fall 2027 in San Jose. The role targets students pursuing Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with hands-on RF testing exposure and prototype refinement.

You will learn manual assembly and rework of multi-chip modules, operate automated test benches, and collaborate with Engineers to meet specifications. The program spans six months starting mid-2027 in San Jose.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Experience with IC package assembly, soldering and rework is a plus.
• Hands-on RF test equipment knowledge (DMM, Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, Scope).
• Familiarity with schematics and AutoCAD is beneficial; MS tools desired.

Responsibilities

• Learn manual assembly and rework of multi-chip modules for testing; operate automated test benches; perform basic RF tests.
• Review test results with Engineers; modify prototypes and retest until performance meets specs.
• Be available for 6 months, June/July to Dec 2027.
