Job summary

Printpack is seeking a Product Development Co-op in Williamsburg, VA. You will work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Product Development and Sales on growth platforms, gaining hands-on experience in technical packaging and business acumen.

Reporting to the Research Engineer, you will contribute to challenging projects for major consumer products companies in the US and may receive housing support and benefits such as a 401(k) plan and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering or Packaging systems.
• Courses in chemistry, polymer science, plastics processing, CAD, packaging, materials science or food science are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce and test prototype samples for R&D; contribute to trial coverage.
• Assist project management and coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Develop test methods for packaging materials and plastics.
