Momentive seeks a Product Development Chemist for the Urethane Additives Technology Team to develop new urethane additive technologies for polyurethane slabstock foam. You will design, synthesize, and evaluate chemistries, testing them in the lab and translating discoveries into scalable solutions.

You will partner with global R&D, technical service, and customers across North America to bring innovations from concept to commercialization while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualificações

• PhD with 0–3+ years of polymer/product development experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Strong knowledge of organic and/or polymer chemistry.
• Experience with standard laboratory practices, structural characterization, and analytical techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Lead lab development projects from concept through pilot-scale evaluation.
• Design, synthesize, and test new urethane additive chemistries.
• Collaborate with global R&D and commercial teams to drive NPDI projects.
• Support customers across North America with technical insight and application support.
• Contribute to IP development and supplier qualification efforts.
