Job summary

Fourth Floor is seeking an Associate Product Developer to support product development from concept to production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to source materials and ensure alignment with quality and design requirements.

You will track milestones, maintain timelines, and help address development-related issues. The role also involves assisting with costing, creating product data and documentation, and maintaining organized development records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in product development, production, sourcing, or related field.
• Experience with swimwear, apparel, or consumer products preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support product development activities from concept through production, partnering closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Assist with sourcing and development of materials, ensuring alignment with quality, design, and business requirements.
• Coordinate sample development, track project milestones, and maintain development timelines.
• Monitor testing and compliance requirements, maintain records, and help address development-related issues.
• Support product costing and maintain accurate development and pricing information.
• Create and manage product data, specifications, and development documentation.
• Maintain organized tracking tools and reports to support product development, sourcing, and production initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track.
• Partner with Production, Operations, and Logistics teams to monitor progress and facilitate on-time delivery.
• Assist with problem-solving and day-to-day execution across the product development lifecycle.
