Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 4-6 years of experience in product development, furniture industry preferred.
• Strong project management with multiple programs and deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication across teams.
• Knowledge of furniture market, materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in retail math, costing analysis, and spreadsheet reporting.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings and using 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks/Creo/Fusion 360).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel globally and work in Stamford, CT.

Responsibilities

• Manage product development lifecycle for assigned projects, aligning with design intent and milestones.
• Prepare RFQ packages; partner with Sourcing to evaluate suppliers and costs.
• Review drawings for design intent, construction requirements, and quality.
• Oversee development timelines from quoting to launch readiness and budgeting.
• Collaborate with Sourcing on vendor selection and program awards.
• Coordinate regulatory, sustainability, material, and packaging documentation.
• Build supplier relationships and maintain clear project communication.
• Develop quality criteria and support inspections for launches.
• Communicate status and risks to leadership and partners.
• Mentor junior team members and guide workload priorities.
