Job summary

Gymshark is seeking a Product Developer – Accessories to own end-to-end development of accessories, ensuring quality, performance, sustainability and compliance.

You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage critical paths, and partner with design, sourcing, production and quality to meet on-time, to-spec delivery.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence at Solihull HQ at least four days a week.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of accessories construction, fit, and product development.
• Solid understanding of accessories regulations, safety requirements, and testing standards.
• Proven experience managing product development timelines and critical paths.
• Good technical awareness of related development processes, including colour development, raw materials, and quality.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices, compliance standards, and performance claims.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Design, Sourcing, Production, and Quality teams.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in PLM systems, Excel, and other relevant product development tools.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the accessories product development process from concept through to final sign-off, ensuring on-time, to-spec delivery.
• Lead the technical development of accessories, including construction, fit, and overall product make-up.
• Collaborate with Design, Fit, Colour, Raw Materials, Quality, and Sourcing teams for cross-functional alignment.
• Act as the technical point of contact for all assigned products, resolving issues and communicating progress.
• Ensure all products meet Gymshark quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Verify alignment with performance and sustainability claims.
• Partner with vendors and suppliers to meet technical specs, timelines, and quality.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation including tech packs, samples, testing results.
• Provide regular updates on development progress, risks, and key decisions to management.

THE ROLE.

This role sits at the heart of our product creation process, owning the end‑to‑end development of accessories and ensuring they meet Gymshark’s standards for quality, performance, sustainability, and compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING.

As Product Developer, you’ll lead and manage the accessories product development process from concept through to final sign‑off, ensuring products are deliveredon time, to spec, and to the highest standards.

• Owning and managing the product development critical path, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met and proactively addressing any risks or delays.
