Job description

Become a key player in the fashion world, collaborating with talented design teams to bring exciting concepts to life! As a Product Developer with a major fashion retailer, you’ll be immersed in a fast-paced, creative environment, shaping the future of apparel. Partnering with Aquent, you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the product development lifecycle, from initial concept to the final product.

This dynamic role offers a unique blend of creative collaboration and analytical problem-solving. You’ll work closely with designers, pre-production, and production teams, ensuring seamless execution and on-time delivery. Your keen eye for detail and cost analysis expertise will be essential in optimizing product development processes. Responsibilities:

  • Support product development execution and serve as a liaison with Design teams.
  • Enter, compile, and analyze costs for all styles, identifying and highlighting any discrepancies.
  • Support sampling/prototyping processes by tracking concept samples and collaborating with mills and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Initiate Time/Actions for all key programs.
  • Communicate regularly with vendors and support functions to guarantee adherence to calendar deadlines and data accuracy. Manage related processes/systems as needed.
  • Cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships with Design, Pre-Production, and Production teams.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in product development within the fashion industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost analysis.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Proficiency in tracking and managing timelines and deadlines.
  • Experience working with vendors and suppliers.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $32.85 to $36.51 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
