Lapel, Inc. is hiring a design-focused engineer who will own the end-to-end design of our product, from early concepts to polished interfaces.

You’ll build Lapel's design system from scratch and work closely with founders and engineers to move from sketch to code in hours rather than weeks. The role demands 3+ years owning product design at a software company, strong design sensibility across systems and interactions, and the ability to write code and leverage AI to realize designs at scale.

Aufgaben

• Own product design end-to-end, from zero-to-one concepts to shipped interfaces.
• Build Lapel's design system from scratch: tokens, components, patterns, docs.
• Sit with founders and engineers daily, moving from sketch to Figma to PR in hours, not weeks.
• Ship production-ready designs, often pairing directly with engineers in the codebase.
• Set the craft bar for the company and defend it as we grow.
