Job summary

A technology startup in San Francisco is seeking a skilled engineer to join their team. In this role, you will own the delivery of user experiences and work closely with founders to shape product and engineering culture. The ideal candidate has over 4 years of engineering experience, a customer-focused mindset, and familiarity with React and TypeScript. As one of the first engineers, you’ll work directly with the founders to shape the foundation of our product, infrastructure, and engineering culture.

What You’ll Do

• Own the delivery of high-quality user experiences across the Lapel platform
• Work closely with founders, designers, and customers to translate ideas into robust products
• Move fluidly between Figma and code to bring interfaces to life with care and polish
• Shape frontend architecture, tooling, and UI standards
• Own key projects end-to-end, from scoping to deployment to post-launch iteration
• Build fast, beautiful, and user-friendly features with React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and modern frontend frameworks

This role is fully in-person at our San Francisco HQ. We work together in-office most days.
