Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Product Designer Senior for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, responsive user interfaces and collaborating cross-functionally to translate user needs into elegant design solutions.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Product Designer Senior job responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product requirements and user needs.

• Design intuitive and responsive user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance user experience across devices.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.

• Ensure design consistency throughout the product lifecycle while staying updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience in product design.

• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices, with a portfolio showcasing thoughtful design solutions.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
