Summary:

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for defining, designing, researching, prototyping, and implementing new features and future iterations. We seek a designer eager to explore new challenges, with a balance of interaction design, visual design, and product thinking skills. You should be customer-obsessed and research-driven, an outstanding collaborator capable of working independently and within a team.

Required Skills:

Responsibilities:

1. Transform broad, conceptual ideas into useful and valuable products for users.
2. Collaborate with Product, Research, Engineering, and other teams from concept to completion.
3. Drive planning, strategy, and vision on key priorities across cross-functional teams.
4. Own end-to-end design, including user flows, interaction, and visual design across multiple products and projects.
5. Present designs, prototypes, and concepts to stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
6. Provide implementation guidance to engineers and ensure high-quality feature launches.
7. Articulate design decisions clearly to internal stakeholders across Reality Labs and Meta.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 4+ years of industry experience designing software products.
3. Experience working in a technical environment.
4. Experience utilizing research and data to inform product strategy and decisions.
5. Portfolio demonstrating a range of user experience, interaction, and visual design skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience designing for virtual, augmented, mixed reality, or emerging technologies.
2. Experience collaborating with stakeholders such as User Research, Engineering, and Product Management.
3. Proficiency in prototyping 3D interactions or interfaces using Unity.
4. Experience with novel user inputs like hand or eye tracking.
5. Designing products for developers and creators.

Compensation: $135,000/year to $194,000/year + bonus, equity, benefits.
