Summary:

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for defining, designing, researching, prototyping, and implementing new features and future iterations. We seek a designer who is eager to explore new challenges, with a balanced skill set in interaction design, visual design, and product thinking. You should be customer-obsessed and research-driven, an outstanding collaborator capable of working independently or within a team.

Required Skills:

• Take broad, conceptual ideas and transform them into useful and valuable products for users.
• Collaborate with Product, Research, Engineering, and other partners from concept through completion.
• Drive planning, strategy, and vision on key priorities across cross-functional teams.
• Own end-to-end design processes, including user flows, interactions, and visuals across multiple products and projects.
• Present designs, prototypes, and concepts to stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Provide implementation guidance to engineers and ensure high-quality feature launches.
• Articulate design decisions clearly to internal stakeholders across Reality Labs and Meta.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of industry experience in software product design.
• Experience working in a technical environment.
• Experience using research and data to inform product strategy and decisions.
• A portfolio demonstrating a range of user experience, interaction, and visual design skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing for virtual, augmented, or mixed reality and emerging technologies.
• Experience collaborating with User Research, Engineering, and Product Management teams.
• Proficiency in prototyping 3D interactions or interfaces using Unity.
• Experience with novel user inputs such as hand or eye tracking.
• Designing products for developers and creators.

Public Compensation: $135,000/year to $194,000/year + bonus, equity, and benefits.
