Job summary

SBH Fashion is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the Personal Care and Wellness category, focused on packaging-heavy products such as oral hygiene, feminine care, hair care, and body products. The role demands a strong packaging background, detail orientation, and experience with claims and ingredient callouts.

You will own design work, create packaging concepts, and develop retail-ready presentations while collaborating with overseas teams and a leading designer.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop design work for assigned personal care and wellness categories
• Create packaging, product concepts, line looks, and presentation materials
• Build trend-right, retail-ready product and packaging solutions
• Apply strong color, material, trend, and consumer insight to product development
• Work closely with the current lead designer to split and manage category responsibilities
• Manage a supporting designer to move projects forward efficiently
• Manage detailed packaging needs including claims, ingredient callouts, specs, approvals, and packaging hierarchy
• Balance creative design with the technical and compliance-driven realities of personal care packaging
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and overseas partners
• Stay organized across multiple fast-moving projects, priorities, and deadlines

Looking for a Personal Care and Wellness designer who can concept and develop new product ideas, create product and packaging direction, build retail-ready presentations and understand how the product moves through development, sourcing, costing, and production.

Role Overview

We are looking for a strong Senior Designer to support and help lead part of our Personal Care and Wellness category. This category is trend-driven, brand-forward, and fun, but also highly detailed and packaging-heavy. The ideal candidate should have experience designing for beauty, personal care, wellness, OTC-adjacent, or claims-heavy consumer products.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop design work for assigned personal care and wellness categories

Must-Have Experience

• Strong experience in beauty, personal care, wellness, OTC-adjacent, or claims-heavy packaging
• Strong packaging design background, not just graphic design
• Experience working with detailed packaging information such as claims, callouts, ingredients, specs, and approvals
• Strong understanding of retail-ready design, packaging hierarchy, and product presentation
• Ability to manage multiple projects and details without constant hand-holding
• Strong taste level, trend awareness, and color sensibility
• Ability to work collaboratively while still owning a category independently
• Comfortable working with overseas designers and cross-time-zone communication

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a strong senior-level designer who can handle both the creative and technical sides of the category. They should understand that personal care packaging is not just about making something look good — it also requires accuracy, organization, claims awareness, packaging structure, and attention to detail.
