Job summary

AngelList is hiring to own the design vision for the Nova payments business, crafting product experiences on both sides of the payments network for funds, investors, and the teams that support them.

You will scope ambiguous product areas, set visual and interaction standards, and partner with customers and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑ROI solutions. AngelList has offices in New York City and San Francisco with a hybrid model; base salary around $270,000+ plus equity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience designing payment networks or financial products.
• Systems thinker with strong interaction and visual craft.
• Clear product vision and customer obsession.

Responsibilities

• Design thoughtful product experiences on both sides of the payments network, creating connected experiences for funds, investors, and the teams that support them.
• Drive scoping for the most ambiguous areas of the product vision, including how these products will interact with other ones (both within AngelList and beyond).
• Set the standard for visual and interaction patterns within this business area that other designers on the team will calibrate to.
• Talk regularly with customers, using research and leverage insights to lead cross-functional teams in driving thoughtful, high-ROI solutions
