Job summary

Gigs, a fast-growing mobility telecom startup in New York, seeks a Product Designer to shape telecom experiences across web and mobile. You’ll own end-to-end design, evolve the design system, and turn complex telecom workflows into intuitive, high-leverage interfaces.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping consumer-grade products with exceptional UX and visual craft.
• Strong product sense and ability to make trade-offs for user and business impact.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across founders, PMs, and engineers.
• Fluency in modern design and prototyping tools (Figma) with awareness of implementation constraints.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for key product areas across Web and mobile, from discovery to polished delivery.
• Extend and evolve the design system to balance consistency and creativity.
• Translate complex telecom concepts into intuitive, high-leverage workflows and crisp UI.
• Collaborate daily with product, engineering and key customer stakeholders to scope, prototype, validate, and ship.
• Run thoughtful discovery by synthesizing research and data into clear insights and decisions.
• Craft production-ready specs with a smooth design-to-dev handover, including edge cases.
• Contribute to our public face with occasional website and brand-related work.
• Raise the bar by prioritizing quality, accessibility, and performance without losing speed.
