Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced product designer to own end-to-end design for internal tools, focusing on Developer Productivity and Collaboration. You will work with engineers and PMs to translate requirements into usable interfaces, conduct quick usability sessions, and contribute to Stripe's internal design language.

The role emphasizes difficult workflows, data-heavy surfaces, and close cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience with a strong UX and visual craft.
• Experience designing tools for complex or data-heavy workflows.
• Lead discovery, write problem briefs, design and prototype, then ship independently.
• Strong systems thinker with emphasis on reusable components and patterns.
• Collaborative communicator who aligns cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficient in Figma and comfortable with design systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for a portfolio of internal tools, from discovery to implementation.
• Partner with engineering and product managers to define requirements and craft solutions.
• Conduct lightweight research and usability sessions with internal users.
• Contribute to a consistent design language across internal tools and Stripe design system.
• Make design trade-offs and deliver pragmatic, forward-moving solutions.
• Advocate for internal product design and underserved internal users.
